|Fiat Punto to be axed India|
Fiat is set to let go of it’s staple model , the Punto in favor of the Fiat 500 Hatchback .The Punto which has visually remained almost the same since it’s launch in 2005 , accounted for a third of all the Fiat’s sale in 2007 , but has been seeing a declining Trend .With declining sale’s , the operating Losses for Fiat reached a whooping 2 billion Euro’s in 2011 , and it market share plummeting to just 6.2 percent this year .

However in 2014 , Fiat hope’s to change all that . They are dividing their car’s in to two lines , The Panda and the 500 . The Panda Line car’s are aimed at the budget buyers’ while the 500 line car’s are aimed at the trendy , young driver’s .
The four door Fiat 500 hatchback , is set to be produced in the Fiat’s Tychy plant in Poland . However the exact date for this isn’t officially revealed.
By setting up production in Poland , the company aims to decrease production cost, and increase their profit margin . The company will only use their Italian plants for producing Luxury or premium car’s , so as to get maximum yield from Italy’s skilled but Expensive Laborer’s .
