The Honda CBR 150R 2015 to Be A New And Improved Version ?
The news coming in from Indonesia is that Honda is planning to give a thorough upgrade to its popular 150cc motorcycle , The CBR 150r . It is expected that by early 2015 Honda will roll out an improved Baby CBR , with a host of new cosmetic as well as Technical upgrade’s . One of the most drastic change will happen at the front , Honda is planning to bring its twin Headlamp design from the heavier capacity bikes to the lower capacity ones . The recently unveiled Honda CBR 300 is an example of this . Pretty soon all the CBR’s will sport Dual Headlamps . Apart from this Honda is expected to replace the short muffler currently on the CBR with a longer circular one , bringing a meaner side profile .

Along with these changes some Technical upgrade will also be provided . We don’t feel Honda will change the Engine in any way . The technical upgrade’s being provided include a new diamond type Tubular frame (inspired from the 250r) , a new suspension set-up and an improved electrical system . We sure hope Honda will remember to add a pass light switch and an Engine kill switch on this Bike. The current CBR 150r has a 150cc , DOHC single cylinder engine producing 17.8 Ps at 10,500rpm .
Though Honda is a solid contender in the premium 150cc segment , due to their heavy pricing they weren’t quite able to match up to the sales of their Biggest Rivals, Yamaha . However the pricing is expected to remain the same in the new Bike, but with its improved looks and technical upgrades Honda is hoping to bite of a huge chunk out of the sales of Yamaha , who are still sticking to cosmetic upgrade’s on the R15 V2 . And by the looks of it Honda could achieve this feat quite easily if this improved CBR 150r 2015 Rolls out .
