Porsche Macan launches in India-Spec,Price
Porsche has launched their new baby SUV in the Indian market,The Porsche Macan . The Macan is launched with a price tag greater than its sibling Cayenne.The price of the Cayenne starts at Rs 71.17 lakhs while the Macan starts at almost 1 Cr for the diesel and almost 1.10 Cr for the petrol , Porsche Macan Turbo.
The Macan comes with a lot of innovative features which include Porsche hill control, automatic hold function, ASR, ABD, MSR and trailer stability management ,CDR Plus audio system with high-resolution 7-inch color touchscreen to name a few . It also offer some relatively newer features which are not found in cayenne ,and hence the difference in figures. It comes with a 255/50 R18 sized tubeless radial tyres, for all road condition.
Porsche Macan S Diesel
India’s love for a diesel car’s is well known .The new Porsche Macan comes with a V6 3.0 litre 258 bhp 24 valve diesel engine and that too at a lower price that its petrol counterpart. The 6 cylinder heart producess 258 bhp @ 4000-4250 rpm.The can is aa 5-seater and is claimed to provides a decent fuel economy of 11.3 in city 14.9 in the highways .The fuel tank capacity is65 litres.
The car provides a smooth and uniform torque delivery of torque and has a peak figure of 480 Nm @1750-2500 rpm .This kind of torque at the lower rpm gives the pleasure of smooth and confident overtaking.The beast under the hood proves itself with an acceleration from 0-100 Kmph in 5.4 seconds, and a top speed of 254 Kmph.
Porsche Macan Turbo
The Macan Petrol comes with a 3.6-litre churning V6 Engine giving out a maximum power of 400 bhp @ 6000 rpm and a peak torque of 550Nm between 1350-4500rpm.It provides a mileage of 6.3 kmpl in city and 10.8 kmpl on the highways.The speedometer passes 3 digits @4.6 seconds and hit a top speed of 266 kmph .The high ground clearance adds to the offroading capabilities of the car however it has a drawback of expensive maintenance .It’s clear that the vehicle have been launched to make a clear statement in Indian market
