The 2017 Bajaj Pulsar 220F has been spied for the first time, sporting a new dual tone colour scheme and a black/grey coloured exhaust.
Bajaj Group chairman Mr. Rajiv Bajaj had earlier said that there will be ‘significant changes’ on the 2017 Pulsar range but these pictures seem to indicate otherwise. However we are taking his words to heart and are expecting atleast some mechanical changes from the outgoing model
I am very pleased to say that we are going to launch between now and December, the 2017 range of the Pulsar, so significant change will be there in both their appearance and performance
The 220cc, single cylinder, 4-stroke, DTS-i, engine is expected to be BS-IV compliant (only logical choice) and should offer better fuel delivery, efficiency and slightly better power/ torque figures.
Talking about the design, the new dual tone colour scheme looks good but doesn’t offer anything ‘significantly’ new. Its exhaust is now dark in colour, which along with the rim decals does enhance the sport quotient slightly. The exhaust also gets chrome highlights.
The bike’s auto-choke has been replaced with a manual one and the instrument console get blue backlit.
The 2017 Bajaj Pulsar 220F is expected to launch this month itself in India.
