Bajaj had recently launched their 2017 range of Pulsars in India, each getting two dual tone colour schemes- black with red decals (Laser Black) and blue with white decals (Nuclear blue), along with some other minor changes. Even though Bajaj’s website only shows two colours, now it seems that at least one more colour will be added.
Spotted by a Rushlane reader, the new Pulsar 220F is seen with red paint job and gold decals. It seems to be fainter than earlier red colours (on the bike) and is the only bright shade currently in the 220’s line-up.
Powering the 2017 Bajaj Pulsar 220F is a 220cc, BSIV compliant engine that produces 21.05 PS @ 8,500 rpm and 19.12 Nm @ 7,000 rpm. This engine is mated to a 5-speed transmission.
The Pulsar 220 has been around for quite some time but it still enjoys good number of sales, both in and outside of India. In fact it is one of the most selling performance model in the country.
The bike’s new updates should keep the numbers going for some more time, at least until they brings out a thorough update (in the next 2-3years).
