The 2017 Suzuki Swift has been fully revealed in Japan. This 4th generation model gets plenty of exterior and interior changes, along with some mechanical changes as well.

2017 Suzuki Swift Exterior
The car’s exterior has been thoroughly updated. Its gets a new front fascia fit with large hexagonal grille, circular foglamps, and smaller headlamps. On the sides, new alloy wheels are provided along with c-pillar mounted door handles. The rear is also different and sports a larger spoiler, bulging taillamps and better looking bootlid.
Its top RS variants are fitted with sportier body kit with red grille embellisher and different alloy wheels.

2017 Suzuki Swift Interior
As you can see, Interior of the car is very different as well. It is now more sporty with flat bottom steering wheel, circular HVAC vents, larger touchscreen infotainment system, restyled twin pod instrument cluster and more.
Features like heated front seats, steering-mounted paddle shifters, engine starter button, smart key and Cruise Control are provided, along with seven airbags, ABS & EBD, reverse parking camera with sensors, ESP and Hill Hold Assist (RSt variant) and an optional safety pack taking care of of the passengers.
2017 Suzuki Swift variants, engine
The 2017 Suzuki Swift is available in XL, XG, RS, Hybrid ML, Hybrid RS and RSt grades in Japan. The car gets 3 engine options- K12C 1.2-litre DUALJET VVT four-cylinder petrol producing 91 PS at 6,000 rpm and 118 Nm of torque at 4,400 rpm, 1.2-litre DUALJET SHVS petrol-electric (mild-hybrid) adding 3.1 PS and 50 Nm to the output and a K10C 1.0-litre BOOSTERJET VVT three-cylinder petrol engine that produces 102 PS at 5,500 rpm and 150 Nm of torque at 1,700-4,500 rpm.
The 1.2L petrol model gets most amounts of variations, available with manual or CVT transmissions sending power to either the front or rear wheels. The Swift’s SHVS model gets only CVT option while its top-of-the line 1.0L models gets a 6-speed automatic transmission sending power to only the front wheels.
