Official video of the Benelli Tornado 302R has been released. This entry level Italian sports bike will come to India next year and competes with the Yamaha YZF-R3 and Ninja 300 here.
The new video lists out some of the specifications of the bike along with some wheelie and cornering action. Its beautiful exhaust note can be heard as well, which is something most Benelllis are popular for.
We saw the Benelli Tornado 302R at this year’s Auto Expo at Delhi and it looked really good. Its design is different from other bikes in its segment and is sure to stand out. The Italian factor is also likely to get favorable points among people looking in the segment.
The 302R was very recently spotted testing on our roads.

Power is where the Tornado 302R comes up a bit short, as its 300 cc Liquid cooled 4-stroke, 4 valve DOHC Inline-2 engine produces just 35 hp at 12,000 rpm and 27 Nm at 9,000 rpm. It is mated to a 6-speed transmission.
Since the TNT300 retails for Rs. 3 lakhs in India, we are expecting the Tornado to be priced somewhere near the Rs. 3.3 lakhs range (all ex-showroom, Delhi).
