2018 Hyundai i30 Tourer design – Interior and Exterior
Its design is obviously inspired from the i30 hatchback but there are some interesting changes. The side gets a tapering roofline with aggressive roof rails. Its lines are more dynamic and the chrome surrounds on the window panels provide a premium feel.
Like the new i30 which increased in size. Its Tourer version will also be bigger when compared to its predecessor. Front and rear(though extended) will be similar to the new i30 and gets features like three-projector LED headlamps, LED daytime running lights, LED tail lamps and 17-inch alloy wheels.
Inside the Cabin, the 2018 Hyundai i30 gets a premium all-black design with features like a panoramic sunroof, 8-inch infotainment system with navigation, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto integration, 4.2-inch digital instument clusture, heated seats and power driver’s seat with memory function (on top trims). Since the wheelbase is unchanged, seating space hasn’t grown much. However its boot space has improved to a very impressive 606 liters.
The safety package is very impressive as well. Apart from the convetional bells and whistles, autonomous emergency braking, high-beam assist, lane keep assist and a fatigue warning system is provided with the car.

Coming to diesel, 1.6 CRDi produces 108 bhp on lower trims, while dishing out 134bhp on the top variants.
Transmission options include 6-speed manual and 7-speed dual clutch automatic, top variants getting the latter as standard.
