Mahindra XUV Aero confirmed. Gets diesel
Mahindra XUV aero concept has been unveiled at the Auto Expo 2016. The car has been made taking inputs from Mahindra’s Indian designers in Mumbai and their Italian design team from Pininfarina.

The SUV-coupes shares its front design with the Mahindra XUV500, however, it is sharper and has longer front grilles, LED headlights and L-shaped DRLs. The front air intakes are bigger as well, adorned with LED inlays.
The side of the car isn’t perfected yet and gets a slopping roofline flowing in to a stubby rear which gives the car a coupe appearance. Its lines will be much more refined on entering production, however, how well a job the designers do needs to be seen
On the inside, the Aero gets bucket seats and premium biege upholstery. The suicide doors were avaialble on the concept.
Mahindra XUV aero Design engine, specification
Though the specifications are not known, this will be India’s answer to high end luxury SUV Coupes like the Mercedes-Benz GLE Class and BMW X6. Ofcourse, highly competitive pricing will be on offer. The car could be powered by the same 2.2-litre diesel engine, producing 140 bhp of power doing duty on the XUV500- unless a better engine is made.
The Aero will also be avaialble as an all-electric variant. In fact, it was the first variant to be confirmed.
Mahindra XUV aero- Price, Launch date
The XUV Aero will be priced near 20 lakhs in India, when it goes on sale in 2018. The car will make official debut at the 2018 Auto Expo, Delhi.
