2019 BMW Z4- Concept debuts
BMW has revealed the 2019 Z4 concept at the 2017 Frankfurt Motor Show. The car has gained good amount of muscle and is now based on the new Toyota Supra’s platform. It will reportedly be only available as a convertible.

2019 BMW Z4 – What to expect
The concept gives us a pretty good idea of how the final version is going to turn out. Sure, there will be some nicks and tucks but nothing drastic enough to go down from points 10 to 5. As a result of BMW giving equal weightage to luxury and sportiness (as opposed to more on luxury), the car is muscular than ever.
It front fascia has BMW’s signature kidney grille along with mean looking headlights. The bumper area could be toned down slightly but its air intakes are likely to retain their shape. The hood is long and round, and slits are placed on its sides to break the monotony.
The new Z4 sides look equally impressive and its chiselled lines are a treat to look at. The rear is unlikely to change much either, and its sleek taillights, twin exhaust pipes and the boot spoiler should be retained.
The interior has spit-personality and is both sporty and luxurious. The driver’s side rightly follows a black colour with all the buttons and gauges turned towards the driver. Everything is kept minimal and BMW continues to give preference to digital over analogue. The new Z4’s passenger side mimics its body colour and is almost as if sitting in two different cars. It’s too early to know whether BMW will retain this colour scheme but at least the seats could have similar colour.
Though not confirmed, the 2019 BMW Z4 could come with both a 2.0L four cylinder and a 3.0L in-line six cylinder engine options. A more powerful Z4 M models is also on cards
