Honda Grazia scooter announced for India
Honda is all set to launch the Grazia urban scooter in India. Bookings for the two-wheeler will start on 25th October for a token amount of Rs. 2000/-.
Honda is one of the biggest scooter manufactures in the world. A major chunk of their sales are concentrated in India, in fact, the Activa repeatedly tops ‘India’s bestselling’ list. This just shows how popular the segment is in the country.
With sales going strong, the Japanese manufacturer seems to be on an ‘experimental’ stage. Apart from their conventional portfolio of Activa, Aviator and Dio, they now have a crossover (Navi), a utility model (Cliq) and now, a youth-centric, urban model in the Grazia.
|Price in India||Rs. 65,000/-|

Honda Grazia design, features & specs
Design wise, the Honda Grazia looks sporty, spacious and utility-conciuos. This is, of course, a blend of traits from the manufacturer’s existing portfolio. The Grazia’s sharp and aggressive design language should go down well with the younger generation (intended customer base), yet it is not as crowded (or less utilitarian) as the Dio. This combination looks good on paper but a final verdict will have to wait till a proper test ride.
The Honda Grazia follows a dual-tone colour scheme and gets an aggressive front fascia with twin-headlamps setup. Its foot-board is wide and the apron has storage space with USB charging port, which is user-friendlier than underseat charging. There is a switch to open the seat as well. Its digital-analogue instrument cluster is slightly different from that on Activa and Dio.
The new scooter comes with telescopic suspension at front and single shock absorber at rear. Disc brake at front and drum at rear provide stopping power to the black alloy wheels.
The Grazia is likely to be powered by the Activa 125’s 124.9cc single cylinder mill which produces 8.52 bhp of power at 6,500 rpm, and 10.54 Nm of torque at 5,000.
Honda Grazia price and launch date
The Grazia sould be Honda’s flagship offering in the country when it goes on sale this month. Price could start at Rs. 65,000/-
