New Bajaj Discover 110 & 125 launched in India
Bajaj has updated their Discover range for 2018. They’ve launched the new Discover 110 and Discover 125 for price starting from Rs. 50,276 and Rs. 53,171/- respectively. The Discover 125 also comes as a front disc variant, which is priced at Rs. 55,954/- (all prices are ex-showroom, Delhi)
The manufacturer has reworked the decals on both the bikes but their design remains mostly unchanged. They have also extended the red-black decal combination (made popular by the V15) on to these models. Earlier, the upcoming 2018 Bajaj Avenger was spotted wearing a similar skin, indicating that this could be a staple across Bajaj’s entry-level portfolio.
Plying their trade in the executive commuter space, the new Discover has been improved with LED DRLs, new analogue-digital instrument cluster and a premium dual texture seat. The LED DRLs are not only brighter but also consume lesser power than standard AHO headlights.
In the technical front, Bajaj claims that the new long-stroke engines employed on these bikes return best-in-class power and torque. Further, their core components are worthy enough to be compliant with the upcoming BS-VI norms, not to mention BS-IV.
The Bajaj Discover 110 is powered by a 115.5cc engine while the Discover 125 gets a 124.5cc engine. They are mated to a 4-speed and 5-speed transmissions respectively.
Suspension duties are carried out by telescopic forks at front and dual Nitrox shock absorbers at rear. They are claimed to have 16% longer suspension travel when compared to competition.
