We said in our Earlier Post that  Yamaha would be bringing out a 250 cc bike , but we didn’t think the new’s would come out so soon . Yamaha motor company has brought out a new video featuring none other than Valentino Rossi to showcase the new R25 . The video has got a description saying ” A superbike you can ride everyday” fuelling speculation’s that the bike may become reality soon , May be a late 2014 Launch .

We expect the bike to be a notch above it’s possible competitors, including the CBR 250/300 , Ninja 250 , Duke 390 and even the RC 390 and 200 . We feel that the R25 will aim to set the same benchmark that the R15 set  a few year’s ago . But unlike the R15, this bike has got bigger and better competition in this Particular segment . But hey , Who wouldn’t buy a Yamaha 250cc bike . The bike is expected to have all the trademark Yamaha features including superior handling and breaking . The Bike seem’s to resemble the YZR- M1 racing bike . A 250cc road bike based on the M1 that would be a real game changer

The Bike will have a 250cc In line Dual cylinder engine . Tubular chassis replace the Delta box frame . The Bike is made primarily for Japanese and European Markets .But these word’s from the Video  “top performance sport bike for emerging markets, primarily throughout Asia” gives a sure hint about an Indian Launch . And Based on the success that Yamaha had with its R15 , R25 without an Indian launch is just impossible.
