Benelli has just showcased their entire Indian line-up of 5 motorcycles at the 2015 Indian Bike week, currently being held in Goa , and if that wasn’t enough to get spirits rising , they have also confirmed the exact date of launch of their motorcycles. Partnered up with Indian distributor’s DSK , the Italian brand will launch their entire line-up on March 19th this year , and bookings will begin prior to that ,on the 10th .
DSK-Benelli will launch five motorcycles here, who’s names are given below:
- TNT 300
- TNT 600i
- TNT 600GT
- TNT 899
- TNT 1130
The manufacturer has decided to use the ‘TNT’ tag for their entire range in the country . This is something used only for their 3-cylinder naked motorcycles globally and personally , we would have loved it if the manufacturer stayed with the original names.
Benelli is also heard to be working on ways to bring 3 more motorcycles to the country later this year – the TNT25, Blackster and the TREK 1130 Amazonas. All three of them was also showcased at the IBW 2015.
The TNT25 on launch will be the most affordable offering from the manufacturer in the country , and will come with design similar to the TNT300 ,but with a single cylinder engine.
The Blaskster will fall in to an affordable twin-cylinder cruiser segment , while the TREK 1130 Amazonas will fall in to the high performance Adventure/tourer segment. Please note that the Blackster is not a motorcycle made by Benelli , but it simply takes up the brand name for sales in the country( It is actually a product of Keeway motorcycles). Both brands are owned by QianJiang Group based in china.
