Honda motorcycles and Scooters India (HMSI) has already launched six of the proposed 15 products that they have lined up for 2015. The rest will be making their way in to dealerships very soon, of which we’ve got pictures of the pictures of the updated Aviator. The new Aviator comes with some noticeable cosmetic, changes which are given below.
The Aviator facelift has been massively restyled and looks gorgeous. The front gets redesigned with shorter bumper and smaller turn indicators. The chorme highlights have been omitted and the headlight cluster now sports a different look. The scooter can also be seen to be slimmer than the current model. The rear portion has slightly been contoured, so that everyone gets a clean look on its new multi-spoke alloy wheel.
The new Aviator retains a slightly updated version of the step-up seat, and larger tires are provided for improved comfort. Other than this a redesigned tail lamp unit should be provided.
Mechanically, the scooter is expected to derive power from the same 109.2cc air-cooled, 4-stroke engine, that churns out 8 BHP at 7000 RPM and 8.77 Nm at 5500 RPM. The engine is mated to a V-Matic transmission.Front disc and rear drum with optional CBS will be on offer.
Launch is expected to take place by second half of this year .
