Hero MotoCorp has launched the much-awaited Maestro Edge in India on September 29, 2015. Maestro Edge will be available in LX and VX trims, that is priced in the range of Rs. 49,500 – Rs. 50,700 (ex-showroom, Delhi).
In terms of dimensions, the Maestro Edge measures 1,840 mm in length, 695 mm in width and 1,190 mm in height with a wheelbase of 1,265 mm. It has a ground clearance of 155mm and the scooter has a kerb weight of 110kgs.
Powering for the new Maestro Edge comes from a 110.9cc single-cylinder engine that produces a maximum power of 8 bhp at 8,000 rpm and a peak torque of 8.30 Nm at 6,500 rpm. This engine is paired to a CVT gearbox, and returns a mileage around 50kmpl.
The Hero Maestro Edge gets 12-inch 5-spoke alloy wheels, new digital-analog metre console, revised head and tail-lamps, 3D emblem. It also gets twin faux air scoops on both sides of the front apron. Both the trims of the scooters feature front telescopic suspension along with combined braking system.Other features include an ignition key with a E-code, immobiliser, night lamp for under-seat storage, a USB power socket, twin parking lamp, and remote fuel lid / seat opening. The new updated scooter also gets a sporty exhaust.
