Honda Accord Hybrid will be launched in India on 25th October 2016. Bookings for the car has already began and will be made available throughout their dealerships in India. It will be Honda’s only hybrid in the country and is currently in its 9th generation. A petrol variant will also be made available.
Much like the upcoming VW Passat, Honda had discontinued the Accord in India due to lack of sales. The Passat will also be available in a hybrid GTE model and both the cars will compete with the existing Toyota Camry hybrid in the segment.

2017 Honda Accord Exterior & Interior
The new Honda Accord comes with a sharper, more mature design. The front gets sleek headlamps with LED strip, redesigned bumper and a chrome grille. LED taillamps are provided at the rear.
Inside, the car gets an all-black colour scheme. Features are plentiful with two touchscreen systems (one being 7-inch) with Navigation, Bluetooth, telephone, Android Auto & Apple carplay support. Other features include rain sensing wipers, Honda Sensing Package (driver assist), auto headlamps, steering mounted controls, heated seats, large MID unit, and cruise control. Lots of space is also provided inside the cabin.
2017 Honda Accord hybrid & petrol Engine
Powering the Hybrid model will be a 2.0-litre iVTEC engine and a 1.3 kW lithium ion battery with combined output of 196bhp and 306Nm of power. The hybrid powertrain will be mated to a E-CVT unit.
The new Petrol Accord will most likely get a 2.4 liter 200 hp producing engine.

The new Accord is expected to get a starting price of Rs. 27 lakhs (Ex-showroom, Delhi). Launch will take place on October 2016.
