2017 Holden Colorado overview
The new Holden Colorado has been provided with some very aggressive styling, following the footsteps of the US specific GM Colorado.
The whole front has been improved with more streamlined design. The headlights and foglamps are new and the dual front grilles have been reworked a bit. This has made the lion logo more prominent.
Sides and rear remain mostly unchanged.
The interior has changed a bit and subtle differences on the dashboard are noticeable. What has improved are the features. The new car is fitted with rear view camera, improved connectivity in the form of Holden’s MyLink infotainment , Apple CarPlay and Android Auto , Satnav and digital radio. Depending on the model, seven- or eight-inch touchscreen , safety features like forward collision alert, lane departure warning, front and rear park assist and voice recognition are also provided.
But perhaps the most exciting part of the upcoming Colorada is the large number of accessories that it will come with. If you remember the Chevrolet Colorado Xtreme concept, most of the new accessories- including bullbars, bash plates, extended rail sports bars, steel rear step, tubular steel side steps, fender flares, LED driving lights, snorkel, 18-inch wheels etc , will be inspired from that concept.
In Brazil, the car is powered by a 2.8-litre turbocharged four-cylinder diesel engine that produces 147kW of power and 500Nm of torque. Australian engine specification is still unconfirmed.
