A third new car from Vauxhall’s Insignia family has been spotted on roads recently, with heavy camouflage. The Vauxhall Insignia Grand Tourer will follow the recently revealed Insignia Grand Sport and the Insignia Sports Tourer, as a more aggressive estate variant.
Here are more details:
|Name||Vauxhall Insignia Country Tourer|
|Transmission||Manual and Automatic|
2018 Vauxhall Insignia Country Tourer Exterior and Interior
The new Country Tourer, like its last generation, gets an increase in ride height and a more aggressive design which is easily noticeable under the Zebra camo. Black body cladding lines its bumper and wheel arches and its lights, like in the previous generation, are mounted on a distinct new housing.
Interior is not visible in the new spy shots but shouldn’t be much different from the sport model. Features may however be increased.
2018 Vauxhall Insignia Country Tourer engine, specs
Vauxhall would want to provide all-wheel drive on the Country Tourer. So the 2.0-litre petrol engine producing 256bhp should be part of the line-up. Diesel variants are essential for the success of the car and hence they could come powered by the 1.6-litre CDTi and the 2.0-litre bi-turbo mills. Both manual and automatic transmissions are expected to be provided.
2018 Vauxhall Insignia Country Tourer release, price, competition
The new Vauxhall Insignia Country Tourer is likely to be released late this year , commanding a premium over the Sports Tourer model. We are expecting prices near £25,500, which is about the same as its previous generation.
Some of the car’s completions include VW Passat Alltrack and Skoda Octavia Scout
