The Hyundai Xcent 2017 facelift has been launched in India and can be booked for a token amount of Rs. 11,000/-. Its chief rival- the Maruti dZire will also receive a thorough facelift next month.

The Hyundai Xcent adopts a different front fascia from the i10 facelift and has longer griller, new bumper, horizontal foglamps and LED DRLs. On the sides, diamond cut alloy wheels can be see, but what will really strike potential buyers is its revised rear. The car comes with new wraparound taillamps, redesigned bootlid and bumper, and connecting chrome strips.

First in segment wheel air curtains improve ride stability and shark fin antenna can also be seen.

Inside the cabin, the new Xcent will look similar to the grand i10 and will even share its features. Depending on the variant, features like 7-inch touch screen infotainment system with smartphone connectivity, mobile phone holder, rear power outlets and air-con vents, reverse camera, keyless entry and more will be made available. Safety will be improved by addition of dual airbags as standard.

Power for the 2017 Xcent will come from an existing 82bhp, 1.2 liter petrol mill and a new 75hp, 1.2-litre diesel unit. Automatic transmission options is only avaialble for petrol.
