Bajaj Dominar 400
Bajaj launched their flagship motorcycle- The Dominar 400 in India last year. The bike has been averaging good number of sale, banking heavily in on its Value for Money proposition.
The Dominar 400 has a 372.2cc single cylinder mill, producing 35 bhp of power and similar amount of torque. This is much more than any competitor to its starting price tag of Rs. 1.45 lakhs.
Bajaj didn’t disappoint on the looks or feature aspect either. It is gorgeous sports tourer with features like single LED array headlamps, muscular fuel tank, secondary display and a good looking rear.

Yamaha R15 is available in two iterations in India-R15 V2 and R15 S. The R15 V2 is in the market since 2012 and though showing signs of age, it is still one of the most sought after bikes under Rs. 1.5 lakhs.
What came as a surprise though, was the introduction of the R15-S. It is a more comfortable version of the R15, based on its version 1. The bike is currently enjoying good amount of success in the country and has helped to improve the R15 brand as well.
Powering both the bikes is 149cc single cylinder mill producing just more than 17 bhp of power. This is the least among all the bikes in this list. However, what makes it desirable is that it is still the most affordable R-series bike from Yamaha that is being sold in India.

KTM Duke 200
The KTM Duke 200 was slightly refreshed for the model year 2017. It was not updated to the KTM’s latest design language but since its design has aged well, there’s not much to complain about.
Powering the Duke 200 is a 199.5 cc engine producing 24.6 Bhp @ 10000 rpm. Until the Dominar came along, this was the best figure in the segment.

Honda CBR150R is the Japanese manufacturer’s most affordable fully faired offering in India. It is priced higher than the Yamaha R15 V3 but gets a more powerful engine.
Though the design is good, its design is not synonymous with that of the CBR series. Powering the bike is a 149.4 cc single cylinder mill producing 18.28 Bhp @ 10500 rpm and 12.66 Nm @ 8500 rpm.

TVS Apache RTR 200 4V
The TVS Apache RTR 200 4V is one of the numerous Streetfighter avaialble in the segment and is priced higher spectrum. It has a good design and an adequately powered 197.75cc, 20.73 bhp mill.
Some of its features include Oil Cooler with Ram Air Assist, BOSCH closed loop fuel injection system, and Pirelli tires at the front and rear.
