The Tata Nexon has been completely revealed for the Indian market . The car is currently available only with a 6-speed manual transmission but Overdrive reports that there may be an AMT variant on its way too.

The Tata Nexon AMT will not be part of the line-up when the car goes on sale by the end of September. However, its launch will not be delayed much and could be available early next year.
Tim Leverton, CTO, Tata Motors, has said that the launch will happen “in the new year or within the next few months”
Most dealerships have already begun to unofficially accept booking for the car and display units are being dispatched.
Tata Nexon AMT details
The Nexon AMT will be available in select top variants only and the car will share most, if not all the features specific to the respective variant. Its design and interior will not change either.
Power for the Nexon comes from a 1.5-litre Revotorq diesel engine producing 110 PS at 3,750 rpm and 260 Nm of torque from 1,500-2,750 rpm and an upgraded 1.2-litre Revotron petrol engine delivering 110 PS at 5,000 rpm and 170 Nm of torque from 1,750-4,000 rpm. AMT will be provided with both engine options.
