2018 Audi RS4 Avant design
The new RS4 Avant is lighter (by 80 kilograms/176 pounds) than the outgoing car at 3,946 pounds (1,790 kilograms). In order to make it more aggressive, the car gets bigger air vents, two large oval exhaust tips and a roof mounted spoiler. It is also lower than the A4 Avant by 7mm and gets 19” wheels as standard. Optional 20” wheels will also be made available.
Audi says that the new RS4 Avant’s design is inspired by the legendary 90 quattro IMSA GTO. Apart from this, the manufacturer also gives tribute to the original 1999 model by introducing a‘Nogaro blue’ paint scheme.
On the inside, we are treated to an interior similar to that on the RS6 Avant. It gets Audi’s virtual cockpit, heads-up display and a good array of RS-specific features. Lots of styling packages and other customisation options are also available via the Audi Exclusive rogram.
