Honda has unveiled the CRF150 prototype at the 2017 Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show. The bike is shod in trademark ‘777’ livery of Russian motocross champion from HRC- Evgeny Bobryshev and gets lots of features that will, most definitely, not make production.
Here are more details of the bike:
2018 Honda CRF150 Prototype design & specification
Design is that of a typical off-roader and the bike seems to built on a semi-double-cradle unit, similar to the one that the current model uses. Suspension dutiey is done by Showa long travel inverted suspension at front and monoshock at the rear. Its 21-inch front and 18-inch rear spoke wheels are brought to rest by petal disc at front and rear. Carbon fiber frame joints, off-road spec aluminium footpegs and kick lever are other notable features.
The bike is powered by a 149.2 cc single cylinder, 2-valve, SOHC air-cooled engine with fuel injection. This unit is mated to a 5-speed transmission. The Yoshimura exhaust seen here will not make it to production.
