2018 Renault Megane RS design- Exterior and interior
The new Megane RS looks good and gets a number of new features. Its front has Renault’s signature three element headlights, sportier bumper and R.S. Vision LED lighting signature as seen on the Clio RS. On the sides, low profile tyres can be seen shod on RS-specific alloy wheels. The car will only be available as a 5-door model.
Extensive changes are provided on the rear, including an aggressive bumper, diffuser, centrally placed twin port exhaust and vertical air vents.
On the inside, an all-black colour scheme has been adopted with contrasting red stitching. Features like sports seats, digital instrument cluster and a tablet type touchscreen infotainment system can be seen. This is similar to the current generation car.
2018 Renault Megane RS (& Trophy edition) Engine, specification

The car also comes with two chassic set-ups- Cup and Sport, with limited slip differential offered for the former. Stopping power comes from 355mm front standard discs but bi-material cast iron and aluminum discs are provided as optional.
Renault’s multi-sense system is avaialble which provides the driver with five driving modes- Comfort, Normal, Sport, Race, and Pro. Extensive safety features including adaptive cruise control with active emergency braking, lane departure warning and more are provided.
Renault will also launch a more powerful, 300 hp Megane RS Trophy edition in 2018. It should debut later this year.
