TVS Jupiter 125 FI design
TVS might launch the scooter as is or with a different design altogether. The spied scooter has headlamp on/off switch which indicates that it based on the old (non-BS-V) model. Its lack of choke lever and the presence of O2 sensors are what hint of the Fuel injected mill underneath.
Another interesting feature of the scooter is the presence of a front disc brake. This along with TVS’s new Sync Brake System should make for a formidable breaking combo.
TVS Jupiter 125 FI engine, performance
The standard TVS Jupiter is powered by a 109.7 cc air-cooled engine that is capable of producing 8 bhp and 8 Nm. The 125cc mill on the Jupiter 125 could essentially give it a power figure near 10 bhp. Apart from this, the technology will ensure better refinement and throttle response
TVS Jupiter 125 price and launch date
The drawback of Fuel injection is that it increases prices. So expect the Jupiter 125 to be priced slightly higher than competition.
There’s no confirmation on when TVS plans to bring out this scooter but our best guess is that it will not go beyond the 2018 Auto Expo.
