The 2019 KTM 690 Enduro R and SMC-R have been spied testing in Europe. Both the bikes where taken off production (for Europe) last year for not meeting Euro-4 emission standards. The Enduro R is still being sold in the US, though.

The KTM 690 Enduro and Supermoto have always had a minimal design but it’s probably more so this time around. Fair amount of mechanical changes are also provided.
First thing you would probably notice is the Enduro’s slimmer fairing and redesigned seat. It seems to sport a single-piece faring on its side and a smaller front cowl. The headlight look conventional but indicators and taillights are LED units. Also, larger under-seat exhausts are provided to be in-line with the new norms.
The 2016 KTM 690 Duke’s single cylinder engine will power the Enduro and Supermoto. The mill is capable of producing 73.75 Bhp @ 8000 rpm and 74 Nm @ 6500 rpm on the former but might be tuned differently on the upcoming models.
More KTM news:
It seems that the Endura R is riding on WP Xplor 48 front forks that have 300mm travel-50mm more than the previous model. Similar suspension tweaks should be expected on the rear monoshock as well. The Supermoto’s radial front calipers are visible in the spy shots and both bikes should come with dual-channel ABS as standard.
2018 KTM 690 Enduro R & Supermoto price and release date
There’s no confirmation as to when KTM plan to release these motorcycles. Since the bikes are in near-production guise, it’s only fitting to expect an official reveal in the first half of 2018. However, most sources point at the 2018 EICMA in November.
