New Royal Enfield Himalayan Sleet launched

The Royal Enfield Himalayan Sleet has been launched in India for a price starting from Rs. 2,12,666 /- (On-road, Chennai). This is a approximately Rs. 28,000/- more than the standard model. The bike will be available for booking exclusively through the manufacturer’s recently opened mini-website.

Royal Enfield Himalyan Sleet – Why the premium?

The Royal Enfield Himalyan Sleet comes in a beautiful snow camouflage colour scheme but for a Rs. 28k extra, you’d expect whole lot more. Thus, Royal Enfield is providing the Explorer kit as standard, meaning, everything you see on the above picture will come pre-fitted. These include two water resistant aluminium panniers with 26 liter capacity each, black powder coat finished engine guard, as well as pannier brakets for extra grip. Offroading capability is improved with the use of aluminium handlebars with crossbars for extra strength and bar-end end weights.

Royal Enfield will only make 500 units of the Himalayan Slate, so it is exclusive as well.
