Hyundai Creta 2018 – Variants & price explained
The Creta 2018 is available in five basic trims- E, E+, S, SX, SX Dual tone and SX(O). Compared to the outgoing model, both the base and top trims have been updated with more features.
Here are some of them:
The base E and E+ variants already had dual front airbags and ABS, but now they come with driver’s seat height adjustment and sliding armrest at the front. Compared to the base E, the E+ variant gets 12.74cm Touch Screen Audio with USB, Bluetooth and steering mounted controls on the petrol trim. Both petrol and diesel E+ trims get electrically adjustable ORVMs with integrated indicators.
The S trim can be seen as a slightly upgraded version of the E+ diesel with more standard features. It comes in only the 1.4 CRDi and 1.6 CRDi diesel engine options, with the latter being exclusively automatic. Compared to the E+, safety features like Park assist, front foglamps and rear defoggers are provided. 16” silver alloy wheels, roof rails, rear center arm rest and power outlets are also in the list of features.
The Creta SX is the top trim and is available as dual tone and SX (O) variants. While the SX(O) sits atop the lineup in terms of price, it doesn’t come with any automatic transmission. The SX AT is placed just below it but loses on some important features like 6 Way Powered Driver Seat, wireless Charger, side & curtain Airbags (SX gets only 2), ESC (Electronic Stability Control), VSM (Vehicle Stability Management), HAC (Hill start Assist Control),height Adjustable Seat Belts (driver & front Passenger) and more.
The SX Dual tone comes below the SX AT and has a mix of SX(O) and SX trims features. 17.77cm Touch Screen Audio Video Navigation System with Apple Carplay and Android Auto, and 17 inch Diamond cut alloy wheels make their debut in the SX trim, among others.
