New Mid-range Tesla Model 3 released! Price and more
America’s favorite luxury car- The Model 3, has just received a new variant in the form a mid-range., rear-wheel drive. The model 3 already has a long-range RWD but this will be discontinued soon. Prices now start at $45,000 with the long-range version beginning at $49,000.
You still get it for fewer but not for long!
With Federal tax credit and other state-sponsored incentives and rebates, you can get the Tesla Model 3 for $35,000 or lower. However, the manufacturer had said that customers placing order after October 15 won’t be eligible for full tax credit of $7,500 (the deadline has since been removed from their website). The Model 3 mini-webpage now says that the full tax credit will stand if you take delivery this year itself, while asking for six to ten week wait on the car.
The credit system will be phased out by the end of 2019, customers getting either half or quarter of the original sum depending on the time of order. This is probably when the much awaited 200-mile, base model comes out, at nearly the same price as the first long- or mid- range models ($35,000).
Mid-range Tesla Model 3 Range
The new Model 3 has a range of 260 mile, which though lesser by 50 miles, is still a way above competition. It utilities the long-range battery with fewer cells so as to be cost effective and prevent any delays in production.
