For starters, the engine is now a 4.0-liter biturbo V8 unit that produces 550 horsepower (404 kilowatts) and 576 pound-feet of torque. It is mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission, sending power to all four wheels.

The 30 hp power boost has done wonders for the car’s performance. It is now one of the fastest SUVs to the 60mph mark, reaching there in 3.9 seconds. If you opt for the premium Sport Chrono pack, this number comes down to 3.7 seconds. This is faster than the Jaguar F-Type R.

Drive dynamics and engine responsiveness has also improved, thanks partly to the new exhaust turbochargers arrangement, and lesser distance between the combustion chambers and the turbos. These have helped to lower the center of gravity.

Audi RS4 Avant revealed- get more torque

Porsche claims that their new SUV blends “the precision of a sports car, the comfort of a saloon and the adaptability of an off-road vehicle”. With features like new active chassis with three-chamber air suspension, mixed tires with 285/40 front and 315/35 rear dimensons and first-in-segment adaptive roof spoiler, we believe them. The car also gets high-performance Porsche Surface Coated Brake (PSCB) system, which drastically improves braking performance.

The 2019 Porsche Cayenne Turbo offers six selectable ride heights, apart from five selectable ride modes- Road, Mud, Gravel, Sand & Rocks. Stability systems like rear-axle steering, roll stabilization, and the Porsche Torque Vectoring Plus system are also part of the car.
