The Hero HF3r concept has been showcased at the Auto Expo 2016. According to the Indian manufacturer, The bike marks the base for all its future performance streetfighter design- and is calling it a “Design Concept Vehicle”. So we may in the near future see something similar to the XF3r being launched here in India.
In design, the Hero HF3r looks really beautiful. The bike gets a subtle single headlamps arrangement at the front, which looks great from the sides. The profile is gorgeous, and gets a sporty carved out fuel tank, golden coloured forks, brightly coloured alloy and frame, and split seats. The rear gets sporty LED tail lamps and tail piece integrated LED indicators. The twin-port exhaust is slung up and is positioned on the right side, just beneath the pillion seat.
The new bike gets features like Geodesmis tubular high strength steel frame, 55mm USD front forks, Pirelli sport demon tyres (110/80R-17 front and 140/70R-17 rear), fuel tank mounted indicators, single sided monoshock (adjustable preload) and swingarm. Braking duties are done by single 300mm, 3 piston caliper disc brakes up front and 220mm single piston caliper discs on the rear. ABS is provided.
Powering the Hero XF3r is expected to be the same quarter liter, 4 stroke, 4 valve, DOHC mill, that is doing duty on the upcoming HX250r. This mill is capable of producing up to 31 bhp of power and is mated to a 6-speed transmission. The engine is fuel injected and gets Dual Map technology mode.
On launch the bike could compete with the TVS BMW G310r, KTM Duke 200 and the likes
