Recently we heard the news of some Bajaj dealerships offering customized paint jobs for the recently launched Pulsar RS 200. The colours were not officially provided by Bajaj, instead was done locally by the dealerships asking very steep prices (close to 15,000 INR). Among the custom RS 200’s, a matte black one with minimal decals clearly stood out and was similar to one spotted prior to the launch of the bike. Now Bajaj has decided to go official with the colour and has brought out the RS 200 in a new Demon black shade, with minimal red graphics. The new colour could also be extended to other Pulsars in the Indian manufacturer’s stable.
With tagline reading “Fear The Black”, the studio pictures of the Bajaj Pulsar RS 200 Demon Black definitely look stunning, and seems the best out of the three available colours. The new matte black colour comes with minimal red and grey decals, and seems to beautifully masks out any bulky and unappealing body panels. Black has always been a signature colour for the pulsar series and on the RS 200 it will find appeal with people who find the yellow too flashy and the red too dull.
The bike will continue to be powered by the 199.5cc single cylinder liquid-cooled FI engine, delivering 24.5 PS of power and 18.6 Nm of torque. Paired to a 6-speed gearbox, The RS 200 gets telescopic front forks, monoshock at the rear, large 300 mm single front disc, 230 mm rear disc brake and optional Bosch sourced single-channel ABS.
The great thing about the new Bajaj Pulsar RS 200 Demon Black is that it comes at no extra price. Customers will be able to book the new colour from today and deliveries will commence soon.
