Benelli motors has revealed that they will debut three new powertrains at the upcoming EICMA show in Milan. These engines will displace 250cc, 400cc and 750cc and is part of the Italian manufacturer’s expansion plans for 2018-2019. In addition, they also want to reduce the gap between their existing models and introduce 150cc and 250cc single cylinder motorcycles as well.
Dante Bustos, Benelli marketing director for Americas, Asia and Africa regions, said in an interview with Paultan.org that:
“In terms of engine platforms, we are seeking to expand very rapidly in these two segments, the 400 and 750, and we will have different type of frames in different types of bikes”
He added that,
“We are also working on the lower displacement engines, like the 150 cc single-cylinder, and also 250 cc single-cylinder, which is our target for next year”
Benelli will bring at least ten new models to the Milan expo, including a new TNT300 and two TRK Adventure models. The latter two, the TRK 250 and TRK 750 Adventure, should be some of the prime attractions of the show.
The manufacture has also confirmed that they are working on a host of other updates for their motorcycles. These include new headlights, upgraded design language, better electronic aids and even an electric motorcycle.
