Benelli BJ150 design and specs
The Benelli BJ150 sports a design which is not much removed from typical 150cc streetfighters in the segment. Similarities with bigger Benelli bikes are less and it even gets a split-twin type headlamp set-up, similar to the Duke 390.
On its sides, split seats, chiselled fuel tank with large shrouds and an engine guard can be seen. There is also a large exhaust canister with chrome protection, as well as a rear tyre hugger.
The radiator at its front indicates that the 150cc bike is liquid cooled. There’s disc brake at front and back while suspension duties are carried out by telescopic forks at front and monoshock at the rear.
Overall the BJ150 looks like a solid machine but further analysis can only be done once a production version comes out.
Benelli BJ150 price, release date, availability
Though it’s not confirmed, the BJ150 is mostly for Asian markets including China. It might however reach some European countries as beginner’s bikes. Expect the bike to be revealed later this year with release taking place in early 2018.
Benelli BJ150 India
We are unsure on whether the bike is coming to India. Benelli has already confirmed that they are working on a Duke 390 competitor for the country and the BJ150 would fit right in if they are looking for something smaller.
