Price of the most affordable BMW has just been released!
BMW G310R UK pricelist has been revealed. At £4,290, it is the most affordable streetfighter in the competing segment containing bikes such as KTM Duke 390, Yamaha MT-03 and Kawasaki Z300. (Who would have ever though we would associate ‘most affordable’ to a BMW Moto!)

The G310R is powered by a 313cc liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine producing 34bhp @ 9500rpm and 20.6 ft-lbs @ 7500rpm. This mill is coupled to a 6-speed transmission. Features include ABS, a multi-function instrument cluster , USD front forks and more. The seat height is 785mm, which will appeal to shorter riders.
The bike gets a short wheelbase, rigid tubular frame and 17” wheels, keeping it nimble and agile. Overall the BMW G310R looks like a very exciting addition to the A2-licence friendly, sub-500cc streetfighter segment.

KTM Duke 390 (£4549)- 373.2cc, Single cylinder, 4-stroke, liquid cooled engine producing 44bhp @ 9500rpm and 26 ft-lbs @ 7250rpm of torque.
Yamaha MT-03 (£4499)– 321cc, Twin cylinder, 4-stroke, liquid-cooled engine producing 41.4bhp @ 10,750 rpm and 22 ft-lbs @ 9,000 rpm.
Kawasaki Z300 (£4349)-296cc, Liquid-cooled, 4-stroke Parallel Twin cylinder engine producing 39bhp @ 11,000rpm and 20 ft-lb @ 10,000rpm
The BMW G310R is imported to UK from India, where the production is at. This is similar to what KTM is doing.
