Suzuki has showcased a dual tone SX4 S cross at the ongoing 2014 Sao Paulo Motorshow. The dual tone brown and white paint scheme is expected to be one of the 3 customization options made available in the crossover when it launches there , early 2015 . India too will get the s-cross in 2015 .The S-cross will be imported to Brazil from Hungary , while local production would be arranged for the Indian version.

The SX4 S cross will be the first crossover from the Maruti stable to debut in India , and will be one of the 3 SUV based vehicles that Maruti Suzuki plans to introduce here. The other cars that will reach India include the XA-Alpha and the Viatara.
For Brazil , the SX4 S-cross will be made available in 3 variants – The 4X2 variant will come with a manual transmission option, while the all-wheel drive versions will come in both automatic and manual transmission options.The car will be powered by a 1.6 liter petrol mill producing 120bhp of power and 155 Nm of torque. Though no news on a diesel variant has been announced in Brazil , India will almost surely get a diesel and even a CNG model is on cards
The Maruti SX4 S-cross will be produced locally in India at their Manesar plant, Haryana.The car will find chief competition in the likes of the fiat Avventura ,The new Mahinda Scorpio facelift , the Ford Ecosport , the Nissan terrano and the Renault Duster.
Expected Prices : 7.5 to 11 Lakhs (ex-showroom)
