Honda XBlade 160 Design and Specs
Though they share platform and even general silhouette, visual distinctions between the X-Blade and Hornet are plentiful. For starters, the former gets a more aggressive design that is intended to appeal to a younger audience. It has a prominent front fascia which Honda calls ‘Robo-face’ and comes with first-in-segment LED headlights and wide windscreen. The instrument console is all-digital, and gets additional information like gear-position indicator, service indicator and hazard lights, apart from a shiny new white backlight.
On its sides, the Xblade gets an aggressive fuel tank with sharp panels, single seat and an underbelly cowl. Its taillight is a LED unit as well.
Suspension duties, as you can see, are carried out by telescopic front forks and rear monoshock. Braking power comes from disc brake at front but strangely enough, rear disc brake, CBS or ABS is not provided even as an option.
Powering the Honda XBlade 160 is a detuned version of the Hornet’s 162.7cc air-cooled mill. It is capable of producing 13.9 hp and 13.9 Nm.
