Hyundai has revealed the Grand i10X for Indonesian market. The standard i10 was given a facelift recently and an ‘X’ (cross) variant based on it was expected.
The current generation Hyundai i10X was launched in Indonesia in 2015 and is sold alongside the standard model. Though it is manufactured in India, the car is unavailable in the home market.
Hyundai Grand i10X changes and engine
Like its predecessor, most of the i10X’s changes are concentrated on the exterior. The hatchback gets a new black bumper with red highlights and skid plate, at its front. It complements the circular fog lamps and LED strip, and gives the car an aggressive stance.
On its sides there are black fender flares, black rocker panel with red highlights and sporty dual tone alloy wheels. The car’s rear come fitted with a new black bumper, on which fake dual exhaust outlets and fake silver skid plates can be seen.

The standard i10 only has ground clearance of 152mm, which is 15mm lower than the X variant.
Power for the Hyundai Grand i10X comes from a 1.25-litre, Kappa petrol engine which produces maximum of 87 PS and 119.64 Nm. This engine is mated to either a 5-speed manual or a 4-speed automatic transmission.
