Jeep Wrangler Pickup Truck delayed till 2019 – Full details
It’s no secret that Jeep is working a pickup truck variant of their popular Wrangler. The truck has been spotted with camouflage in USA, which is also its primary market. Many automobile portals have even rendered the car by adding a cargo area to the existing Wrangler as best as they could. However, the sad news is that Jeep has been delaying its release ever since they first made confirmation and last time we heard it was for 2018 (As a 2019 model).

Jeep Wrangler Pickup Truck design – Interior & Exterior
The new generation Wrangler will be based on an all-new body-on-frame platform, and its Pickup variant will use it as well. The extended bed will pretty much be the only change and spy shots confirm existence of a 5-door model. It is not yet certain whether a 3-door model will be made.
On the inside, the car will be similar to the other Wranglers. The bed area is expected to hold many cargo specific features and even a cargo management system as seen on its competitors.
Jeep Wrangler Pickup Truck engine, transmission
Engine options will be shared between the SUV and Pickup models. The current 3.6-liter Pentastar V-6 is likely to continue, along with a turbo- petrol (300hp) & diesel options. An 8-speed ZF transmission is also very likely to be provided.
While 4-wheel drive is a given, Jeep could also make available a rear wheel drive variant, which very fitting of the segment.
Jeep Wrangler Pickup Truck price and release date
Though the Wrangler Pickup was earlier scheduled to release as a 2018 model but now it has been delayed for 2019. The truck is however expected to be revealed this year itself.
There is no confirmation about its price but we expect it to start somewhere around $30,000
