With sales of their Baleno going strong, Maruti Suzuki currently has no plans for a spin-off model. However if such a necessity arise, Indianautosblog has released a good rendering of how the Baleno Cross might look like.
This design incorporates many attributes of the S-Cross on the existing car, with good results. The Maruti Baleno is already a great looking car and addition of black body cladding, larger wheels, restyled front fascia and increased ride height brings an all new perspective.
Powering the Maruti Baleno petrol is a 84 PS producing 1.2L, 4-cyl engine mated to a 5-speed manual or CVT, while the diesel variant gets a 75 PS 1.3L DDiS 4-cyl engine with a 5-speed manual gearbox only
Stay tuned for more updates on the Baleno Cross.
