2017 Maruti Swift dZire Facelift – Interior, Exterior
Update 03/04/17 – Interior and exterior of the upcoming Swift dZire have been spied without camouflage. The front fascia doesn’t mirror the 2017 swift hatchback, instead, looks more angular. There is even a slight resemblance to the Figo aspire. Chrome is extensively used and features like sweptback projector headlights and LED DRLs can be seen.
Sides and rear of the new dZire have been made better. The car gets sharper boot lid, LED taillamps and a newly designed bumper.
First pictures of the interior reveal a dual-tone shade for the top trim. Chrome and faux wood have been used, which we will leave to judge on an another day. The new dZire gets a flatbottom multi-function steering wheel, dual pod instrument cluster and Maruti’s Smartplay touchscreen infotainment system. Features like cruise control, 4.2 inch MID, circular aircon vents etc seems to have been given a miss, considering this looks like the top ‘Z’ automatic trim.
Exterior: The extensive camouflage indicates that the 2017 Dzire will receive substantial design updates. It will be inspired from the 2017 Swift hatchback, which had been spotted with milder body covers abroad. Some of the noticeable new features at the front include aggressive (new S-Cross facelift inspired) front fascia, larger grille and projector headlamps.
Its sides have been slightly reworked and the rear gets new tailgate, bumper and redesigned taillamps.
Interior: Though cabin pictures of the Swift Dzire isn’t available yet , its hatchback version gets new dashboard, sporty seats, dual pod instrument cluster with larger MID, improved leg and headroom, and overall better features.
