For a rally veteran of Mark Higgin’s calibre, 52.4 miles of unabated tarmac is probably as easy as it gets. Throw in a few 100 turns and you make it fun for him. But when its 688 turns, rain and fog around every corner, drop-offs that can plummet you to your doom, you call it the Transfagarasan aka the most beautiful road in the world. A world record here would be the ultimate ultimate feat for any rally driver (& car) and Subaru obviously wants first pie!

Mark completed the stretch in 40 minutes 58.8 seconds on his Subaru STI Type RA and its going to be tough challenge for anyone trying to beat it, seeing the amount of quality involved.
