-The new Suzuki GSX S150 and GSX R150 have been unveiled in Indonesia. Full details HERE
Suzuki GSX150R has been spied testing in Indonesia. The bike looks bigger than a 150cc and is surprisingly similar to the leaked patent images of Suzuki GSXR250 (and subsequent spy pictures). However the Indonesian media is stating that this is indeed a smaller 150cc Suzuki model, made to compete with the likes of Honda CBR150R and Yamaha R15 V2.

Suzuki GSXR150 Design, Features
The GSX150R looks like a bigger version of the Gixxer SF that is available in the Indian market. While some bits like the exhaust and Swingarm seem to be inspired from the latter, almost everything else is subtly new. These include the new sharper headlight cluster with LED strip, restyled fuel tank , new split seats, sleeker front fairing, bigger LED tail light, and a new digital instrument console
Talking about specifications, the bike gets conventional telescopic forks at front and monoshock at rear. Front and rear disc brakes are provided.
Suzuki GSX150R Engine
New reports claim that the GSX150R will be powered by the same 155cc, air cooled, fuel injected mill that is seen on the Gixxer SF. While this engine produces 14.8 PS @ 8,000 rpm and 14 Nm @ 6,000 rpm in the latter, output may be bumped up by 1-2 units on the GSX model.
Suzuki GSX150R launch date
The Suzuki GSXR150 will be launched in Indonesia in the coming weeks. With India’s premium 150cc space all set for an update next year ( Yamaha R15 V3, Benelli Dragon 150 & Honda CBR150R 2017) we may see Suzuki too joining in on the Bandwagon.
Suzuki GSX150R Price
If launched, Suzuki will have no choice but to price the bike competitively in the 1.15-1.3 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi) range.
