The TVS Akula 310 has spied without any camouflage at a dealer’s yard. As per recent reports, the flagship bike will be called TVS Apache RTR 310, as the Indian manufacturer reluctant to drop the Apache tag.
With the camouflage removed, we get to see just how good the bike looks. TVS has managed to create an outright streetbike, retaining elements from the awesome Akula concept. Its digital instrument console is also visible (which is different from that on the G310R) and so is the aggressive fuel tank.

The much awaited TVS Akula 310 aka Apache 300 has been spied for the first time and based on the pictures we have, the Indian manufacturer is surely cooking up something amazing.

TVS Akula 310 / Apache RTR 310 Spied-design
Unlike recent reports of an ‘Apache’ inspired design, this one seems to be very sport-centric. The sharp lines and cresses, though slightly mellowed, resemble the Akula concept.
The front of the production Akula 310 shares the same outline with its concept. We are not able to make out all the details, but very sleek headlamps and LED pilot lamps are provided. Smaller RAM air induction ports seem to be retained, which may also be mere cosmetic additions.
Update: At the rear we get to see a ‘very big’ bike. Small LED taillamp, modest pillion seat and sporty ride position is visible.
Unlike Bajaj, TVS doesn’t want to play safe. This is evident from the very aggressive seating position(based on pictures we have). They have stayed true to the racing DNA of Akula, which is exciting to see.
The great news is that we will soon have two more Indian bikes of different segment, in the very competitive Rs. 1.5 lakh price range.
The new Akula has left us wanting more and to all our readers in Bangalore, keep your eyes sharp for this one.
