People familiar with our website will know that its almost time for another ‘2 year’ upcoming bikes list. We’ve been fairly successful in its last two iterations and have even started a new website ‘upcomingbikesindia.com‘ for those want to be updated all through the year.
Upcoming bikes under 3 lakhs (2017-2018)
In this post we will bring you some top bikes that could be launched in India in between 2017 –2018, under Rs. 1.5 lakh. Most manufacturers only confirm the launch of a new product weeks or a month before launch, so we cannot predict all of them correctly. Nonetheless we are bringing you some of the bikes that are either confirmed or still floating around in the rumor columns. If you are not one to stomach rumours or speculations, stop here and move on to our news page.
Bajaj Pulsar 200NS 2017
The Pulsar 200NS will be the first in this list to be launched. The bike has already begun to reach dealerships across the country. However it remains similar to the version that was discontinued and even its engine does not change.
Power for the 2017 Pulsar 200NS comes from a 199.5 cc single cylinder mill producing 23.52 PS of maximum power at 9,500 rpm and 18.3 Nm of peak torque at 8,000 rpm, mated to a 6-speed gearbox.

Every year since 2015 we add the updated CBR150R on our list of upcoming bikes for next year. The CBR siblings may not be a huge sales puller for the manufacturer but since the segment is growing at an exponential rate, it is hard to think that Honda will not tap in to the segment
