The 2019 BMW 8 Series marks the return of the popular brand name, and like its predecessor from the 90s, the new model will be a blend of modern luxury and sportiness. The Bavarian manufacturer has even confirmed that there will be M8 and M8 GTE (revealed) models based on this car, which though expected, came out sooner than we anticipated.
BMW 8 Series – Exterior and Interior
The new BMW 8 series looks great and should draw attention of many who were not fans of the manufacturer’s design in the past. Whether you like it or not though, most future BMWs will take-up a design similar to this. This is similar to how the Concept A’s design will be used in many of Mercedes’s future small cars.
At the front, BMW’s signature kidney grille has been retained and the car gets a sculpted bumper with large air intakes, sleek headlamps and an angular hood. It sides don’t exactly scream BMW but there’s nothing to complain either.
The 8-series’ rear seems to be an ‘extreme’ evolution of some of BMW’s existing car. For me, It does look a bit too much.
Though it might not be an exact replica the 8-series’ interior does resemble the concept. Features like 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, 10.25-inch infotainment display and sixteen-speaker Harman Kardon stereo are provided.
