Yamaha has a very interesting stall at this year’s INTERMOT show. The manufacturer has showcased some of their biggest naked motorcycles, including refreshed MT-09 and a new MT-10 SP variant.
Yamaha MT09 2017
The MT-09 (or FZ-09) is one of the most popular motorcycles currently in Yamaha’s arsenal. The bike has received a proper update for next year, getting MT-10 inspired dual front headlamps along with new features. With the update, the instrument cluster has moved closer to the headlight and the indicators are now positioned further down. The tail section is 30mm shorter and the saddle height has increased by 5mm.
While the 8,50cc, 3-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine has been retained, new exhaust system, A and S (Assist and Slipper) clutch and Quick Shift System (QSS) are being added on. Also its 41mm front fork features new compression damping adjuster in the left fork tube (along with existing rebound damping function in right tube).
Yamaha MT10 & MT10 SP
The 2017 variant of the MT-10 features a Quick Shift System and revised engine mapping for more balance performance. Even better, there is an SP version for next year as well.
The new MT-10 SP is a Hyper Naked based on the Yamaha R1-M. It gets exclusive Silver Blue Carbon colour featuring blue wheels, black front fender, gold coloured forks and silver bodywork.
